We do have a $20 minimum order for delivery policy. When checking out you will have to choose delivery or local pickup. When selecting local pickup you will be agreeing to come to our house to make the pickup in Cosmos Minnesota. Our address is

We don’t promise delivery times but you can indicate when it would be best for during checkout. Again this is not a promise but we will do what we can. We only promise to make deliveries on the dates indicated. This may involve early or evening deliveries and may vary.

The primary reason for building a website with a secure checkout page is to create a way for customers to order what they want ahead of time so we can bake to order, keep the orders organized, and collect payment upfront without creating multiple trips. Many cottage bakeries suffer from orders placed without payment then canceled after the goods are baked. We have instead opted to use a mainstream payment processor (Stripe) to handle the payment information. We don’t have direct access to anyone’s credit card numbers at any time but we can see the transactions and if needed reverse a charge to issue a refund.

Note about delivery cost. We may offer special delivery deals on certain days but this is a wide area to serve and even driving 20 miles can end up being an hour-long effort. Given that information, we don’t feel like our regular delivery fee is out of line. We may make special arrangements for exceptionally large orders to waive delivery fees.

Cosmos has a special status regarding free delivery since the town is walkable and we live here (the whole area is amazing and we love being here!)

Cottage food laws prohibit us from using shipping services to send the food to any destination. Sorry, we can’t make exceptions.

If buying for friends or family in the area, you can choose to “Ship to another address” and select our delivery service. It’s certainly a fun way to send a unique gift to those living in the area even if the buyer is from out of the area or even out of state.
